The aim of the project is to support the Government of Kosovo to successfully implement its 2015-2018 program, which is being implemented under the USAID Partnership for Development (PFD) program and is focused on developing one of the most important sectors for Kosovo’s society – tourism.
Policy and Management Consulting Group (PMCG) has signed a contract with the Tbilisi Entrepreneurship Support Fund to provide business-consulting diagnostic services to six Tbilisi–based business entities.
Chventan Ltd. is a trading company which has been operating on the Georgian market since 2014. The main business area of the company is purchasing fruits and vegetables in different regions of Georgia, transporting products to Tbilisi, processing, packaging and wholesaling. The company intends to expand, aiming to increase the number of clients it serves.
PMCG, as part of a consortium led by Tetra Tech ARD, is providing support to MRDI, MOLHSA, Akhaltsikhe, Batumi and Kutaisi municipalities in capacity development of Internal Audit (IA) units. The objective of this assignment is to develop the capacity of Internal Audit (IA) units at the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure (MRDI), Ministry of Labor, Health and Social Affairs (MOLHSA), and the municipalities of Akhaltsikhe, Batumi and Kutaisi, through providing assistance in developing: (1) IA mid-term (3-year) strategic plans based on risk assessments; (2) IA annual action plans according to IA manuals and guidelines; (3) IA annual reporting.
PMC Research, in partnership with the Georgian Institute of Public Affairs (GIPA) and the Caucasus Environmental NGO Network (CENN), is supporting agriculture-related education and research institutions in the regions of Georgia to enhance their skills in conducting research work in response to region-specific needs, in the framework of ENPARD’s project.
The project aims to collect detailed data of the population of Tbilisi, in order to study the behavior of people here in the labor market, and examine how attitudes toward risk, confidence, educational level, previous experience, family size and other characteristics affect individuals’ behavior.
The training aims to help the PR department staff to acquire practical skills to master the art of conveying very legalistic content in popular, simplified language, and to teach the Press Office staff how to write more effectively for the Parliament website, exploring the possibilities of creating new products for readers.
The objective of this four-part assignment is to: (i) Assist the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure (MRDI) to design a general methodology for the preparation of Municipal Priority Documents (MPDs) based on regulation N244 of the Minister of Finance, about the “Methodology of Programme Budget Drafting”, including adequate actions to increase public awareness of, and civil society involvement in, consultations on MPD preparations; (ii) Directly support selected pilot municipalities to prepare MPDs covering the period of 2016-2019 in accordance with the general MPD methodology and to take adequate actions to increase public awareness of, and civil society involvement in, consultations during these preparations
PMCG, as part of the consortium led by Tetra Tech ARD, provided support to Akhaltsikhe Municipality in strengthening the program budgeting capacity of the Ministry staff and formulating and implementing its needs-oriented 2016 program budget. Medium-term planning and program budgeting will help to define the major program priorities of the Ministry and its sub-agencies in the medium-term and identify the actions that should secure achievement of the institutional priorities in the coming years.
