We recognize that one of the main challenges facing the Georgian agriculture sector, as well as individual producers and exporters in general, is compliance with food safety and quality standards. Through our consultancies, we strive to raise awareness and to facilitate wider implementation of best international food safety practices in Georgia. We support Georgian enterprises in their efforts to increase production quality and their overall competitiveness, to implement best international practices, and to enhance their export potential.
We have worked with numerous small, medium, and large companies in the agriculture sector, including sugar, hazelnut, bread, dairy, and wine producers, as well as restaurant chains and bakeries, and supported all of them in optimizing their processes and achieving international standards in food safety. In doing so, we provide an initial review and gap analysis of production processes and related documentation, develop recommendations, conduct workshops and trainings, and support companies in putting in place new and improved procedures for food safety and quality as well as optimized production processes. We work closely with interested companies to support them in implementing Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) systems and in obtaining HACCP and ISO certification.
