PMCG in consortium with ECORYS and OPM have launched the project Support to Regional Policy Implementation

PMCG in consortium with ECORYS (The Netherlands) and Oxford Policy Management (UK), under the EU Delegation to Georgia, have launched 3 years duration project to support the regional policy implementation in Georgia. The purpose of the project is to increase the capacity to plan and implement regional development policy in accordance with the State Strategy for Regional Development of Georgia for 2010-2017 and its 2011-2014 Action Plan. As a result of the project performance more efficient regional development management is expected, as well as, increased capacity of policy formulation and strategic planning. PMCG is Implementing M&E Project in Adjara

PMCG, under the USAID project Good Governance in Georgia (G3) implemented by Management Systems International (MSI), has launched the program to improve the monitoring and evaluation (M&E) function of the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara (GoARA), that includes the Ministry of Finance and Economics (MoFEA), Ministry of Agriculture (MoA), Ministry of Health and Social Affairs (MoHSA), Ministry of Education Culture and Sport (MoECS) and Department of Tourism and Resorts (ATD), Regional Development Council (RDC) of Adjara Autonomous Republic. This project will also include capacity development of GoARA employees enabling them to produce annual reports. PMCG will assist GoARA to develop tools and mechanisms in support of its strategic plan and operation in order to improve their monitoring and evaluation function. Furthermore, PMCG will work with GoARA line ministries and the Tourism Department to improve reporting mechanisms and develop capacity staff to write well formulated Annual Reports for GoARA’s institutions. Accordingly, PMCG will develop a work-plan for conducting periodic monitoring of implementation GoARA ministries and prepare M&E manuals for better understanding of their roles, functions and responsibilities. PMCG has Launched a Project on Risk-Based Audit Economic Impact Assessment

PMCG is implementing a project to assess the economic impact of risk-based audit (RBA) reform through the USAID Economic Prosperity Initiative (EPI) program. As a result of this study, the State Revenue Service (RS) and the business stakeholders will be able to increase their analytical capacity in understanding the burdens and benefits of RBA reform. The assessment will be based on quantitative and qualitative analyses and forecasts. Additionally, the assessment will include cost-benefit analyses of RBA reform in the Government of Georgia and businesses.While measuring the impact of RBA reform, PMCG consultants will apply appropriate macro-economic models and other relevant techniques in order to achieve the most reliable results. The project will include the assessment of both short-term and long-term impact of the reform on key macroeconomic variables: On the levels of FDI and domestic investments; On the amount of exports; On the employment rates; On the productivity and efficiency rates and etc… More information on this project is available on this link  
PMCG together with BAH Launches Investment Profile development project in Regions of Georgia

The project is funded by Georgian National Investment Agency, and is implemented by PMCG (Prime Contractor) in association with Booz Allen Hamilton (sub-contractor).The objective of the project is to develop an investment profile for the Samtskhe-Javakheti region of Georgia, including:  • Overview of region and major economic trends and tendencies;• Socio-demographic analysis;• Economic potential and development perspectives;• Other information useful for generating investments. PMCG has Become the Corporate Member of AmCham Georgia

In April 2012, the board of the American Chamber of Commerce in Georgia approved PMCG’s membership in their organization. AmCham has continued to grow in their influential role as the leading business association in Georgia representing American, International and Georgian businesses. They have committees established to target our policy initiatives on those issues which are the most important to its members: Agribusiness Commercial Law and Tax Committee Corporate Social Responsibility/UN Global Compact Human Resources & Training IT and Telecoms Tourism Trade and Transportation AmCham Georgia has been a member of the US Chamber of Commerce in Washington, DC since January 2001 and in September 2005 in Kyiv; the Chamber was accepted as a full member of the European Council of American Chambers of Commerce (ECACC) – the first for any of the AmCham in the South Caucasus. PMCG will actively participate in AmCham’s regular meetings, the American Business Roundtables and other events. AmCham Georgia also has many social activities and other events that will allow us to network with the largest businesses operating in Georgia. PMCG hosted Kyrgyz business delegation in Georgia

PMCG hosted a Kyrgyz business delegation in Georgia consisting of representatives of business associations and former government officials.During the visit, the delegation met with heads of business associations, businessmen, visited several public institutions and got familiar with the services of different state agencies. The Kyrgyz delegation had meetings with representatives of GSMEA and ICC Georgia as well. The following important meetings were arranged during the visit:1. Revenue Service - Customs Economic Zone;2. Service Agency of Ministry of internal Affairs of Georgia (Rustavi);3. Public Service Hall (Rustavi);4. Public Registry;5. Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development;6. PMCG is Conducting Performance Assessment Project of GSE

PMCG, under the USAID HICD+ program, have launched a project to conduct an institutional performance assessment of Georgian State Electrosystem (GSE). The purpose of this project is to conduct an HICD Institutional Performance Assessment of the Georgian State Electrosystem (GSE). The goal of the assessment is to increase the human and institutional capacity of GSE and better enable it to perform its core functions. After a performance assessment, HICD PLUS will receive a written report detailing the findings of the assessment team, along with the team’s recommendations for performance solutions. PMC Research Center is Working with Competition and State Procurement Agency (CSPA) of Georgia

PMC Research Center (Member of PMC Group) has been awarded the grant by USAID for the project entitled Study to Enhance the Public Outreach Function of the Compitiion and State Procurement Agency (CSPA). PMC Research Center will work with CSPA to conduct a desk study of current operations and processes of the CSPA Dispute Resolution Board and provide recommendations to improve public outreach function of the CSPA.
