The project aims to enhance good governance and sustainable development in various municipalities of Georgia, through capacity building and exchanging experience between local self-governments.
The project is being implemented under the World Bank project Public Finance Management Modernization Project II (PFMII) which aims to improve the effectiveness and transparency of public financial management in Tajikistan.
PMCG is working with the Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development of Georgia (MRDI) to develop a mid-term (8-10 year) strategy of decentralization and good governance at the local level, as part of a consortium led by Tetra Tech ARD, within the USAID-funded Good Governance Initiative (GGI).
The project aims to assist the Ministry of Justice (MoJ) of Azerbaijan to prepare a Sector Expenditure and Efficiency Review (SEER) for its justice sector, which is intended to inform dialogue between justice entities and other relevant entities such as the Ministry of Finance, as well as other stakeholders such as representatives of academia, civil society and the country’s development partners.
PMCG, as part of a consortium led by Tetra Tech ARD, within the USAID-funded Good Governance Initiative (GGI), is supporting the Civil Service Bureau (CSB) in the development of a performance evaluation framework.
The program aims to enhance agricultural production and rural development in Georgia, by contributing to the efforts of UNDP and the European Neighborhood Programme for Agriculture and Rural Development (ENPARD Georgia) to establish and implement Rural Development Strategies in Georgia.
The project is designed to conduct an external evaluation of the impact of the pilot program “Improving Tax Policy Analysis and Development in Partner Countries (TaxDev)” which is being delivered by the Institute of Fiscal Studies (IFS).
PMCG, together with DAI Europe, and as part of a European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) project, is working to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to improve their access to financing, and, more broadly, to stimulate the banking sector to improve its finance products and services.
PMCG, in consortium with Hill International and Temelsu, has started working on a construction supervision project which envisions supervision of construction/rehabilitation works on water and sewerage systems under the Urban Services Improvement Investment Program financed by the Asian Development Bank (ABD).
PMCG, as part of a consortium led by B & S Europe, is working on a European Commission project of which the overall objective is to improve parliamentary oversight of the security sector and to increase transparency, by ensuring proper monitoring of defence and security agencies and improving the relevant legislation.
