PMCG, as part of the USAID HICD 2020 Activity, is supporting the Georgian National Communications Commission (GNCC) to advance its business processes.

GNCC is a legal entity of public law, for which the primary goal is to prevent monopolistic practices, to establish a transparent regulatory environment, and to promote competitive, diverse and innovative telecommunications services as well as to protect consumers’ rights.

Well-structured business processes are crucial for the entity to fulfil its mandate. In this regard, PMCG is assisting the GNCC to describe and document processes, and will also provide recommendations on how these can be improved.

The project team will review and map up to 70 business processes and conduct initial assessments to define which processes could be improved. The team will advise the GNCC on how to improve their processes thereafter.

The project envisions that, upon its conclusion, the GNCC’s senior and middle management will be better equipped to track and manage processes, as well as to develop an employee evaluation system and key performance indicators (KPIs) for each structural unit that will enable and encourage employees to perform better.
