Policy and Management Consulting Group (PMCG) has an exciting new opportunity for an individual to engage in expanding our work through the role of Business Development (BD) Manager. This is a permanent and full-time position based in Tbilisi.

About the role

We are looking for a talented individual to join us and contribute to the continued success of our business development team. The role of Business Development Manager is considered as the owner of the process of leading the new business opportunities, building strong partnerships with international development consulting companies, and bidding for tender opportunities in the capacity of lead partner, consortium member, or subcontractor.


The primary service area of the projects is expected to be in the fields of:

  • Economic Policy
  • Good Governance, Institutional Building, and Capacity Development
  • Monitoring & Evaluation.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree preferably in Economics, Public Policy, Public Administration, or other similar areas
  • Knowledge of project management is desirable
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience
  • Experience in working on proposal preparation or bid management for tenders issued by international development partner institutions, such as UK AID, USAID, European Commission, WB, UNDP, etc. is desirable.
  • Experience in working in any of the following fields of services will be considered as an advantage:
    • Economic policy, Business Enabling Environment, Public Finance Management, and other relevant ones.
    • Good Governance, Institutional Building and Capacity Development
    • Monitoring and Evaluation
  • Experience in working with any of the below-listed institutions is desirable:
    • Public Sector institutions
    • International Development Partner Institutions or their funded programs
    • Development Consulting companies
    • Civil Society Organizations (e.g., Think Tank, Policy Institutes, etc.)
  • Good computer skills. Good knowledge of standard Microsoft Office applications
  • Fluency in both oral and written English.
